Ken Springer is the President of the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development. A native of rural West Michigan, he completed his graduate work in Applied Community and Economic Development through the Stevenson Center at Illinois State University. Prior to coming to Galesburg, he served as Vice President of the Bloomington-Normal Area Economic Development Council. His professional achievements include successfully-closed projects in industries such as food processing, heavy manufacturing, high-tech, IT, logistics, recycling, mixed-use and others.

 

 

 

 

Taylor Rooney, Director of Communications (309) 343-1194 — trooney@galesburg.org

Taylor Rooney is the Director of Communications for the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development. Taylor is an Iowa native and also where she obtained her B.S. in Public Relations from Iowa State University. Her background in non-profit work, community outreach, marketing and social media are her skill sets to add to the Partnership. In her spare time she enjoys exploring new cities and spending time with her family.

Noah Postin is the Client Manager for the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development. A Knox County native, Postin graduated from Monmouth College with a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Economics. After undergrad, Postin worked as a Business Consultant for the Small Business Development Center at Western Illinois University where he completed his graduate studies in Community and Economic Development. Postin specializes in business consulting, international trade, and product development
