Ken Springer is the President of the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development. A native of rural West Michigan, he completed his graduate work in Applied Community and Economic Development through the Stevenson Center at Illinois State University. Prior to coming to Galesburg, he served as Vice President of the Bloomington-Normal Area Economic Development Council. His professional achievements include successfully-closed projects in industries such as food processing, heavy manufacturing, high-tech, IT, logistics, recycling, mixed-use and others.

Kyle Kelley is the Client Manager for the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development.  A Galesburg native and graduate of GHS, he returns to the community from Peoria, IL where he spent the last four years in the banking industry.  Kyle brings a strong sales skillset to the Partnership in addition to his experience in working with small businesses.  When he’s not meeting with clients or volunteering in the community, he likes to spend time with his family.

Kate Rees is the Communications Associate for the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development. While Kate is a native of the Chicago suburbs, she returns to the area after graduating from Monmouth College with a degree in Public Relations, Communications, and Art. Kate’s marketing and graphic design skills bring creativity to the Partnership’s digital and social presence. In her spare time, she coaches Women’s Soccer at Monmouth College and enjoys volunteering and attending events in the community!
