Ken Springer is the President of the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development. A native of rural West Michigan, he completed his graduate work in Applied Community and Economic Development through the Stevenson Center at Illinois State University. Prior to coming to Galesburg, he served as Vice President of the Bloomington-Normal Area Economic Development Council. His professional achievements include successfully-closed projects in industries such as food processing, heavy manufacturing, high-tech, IT, logistics, recycling, mixed-use and others. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and dog.

Abby Colvin is the Director of Communication and Development for the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development. Abby is a small town native of Central Illinois and is now living in Peoria. She attended Bradley University to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Leadership and Marketing. While there she was very active in the community and interned for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Easter Seals. Her background in non-profit work, community outreach, marketing, special events and social media are her skill sets to add to the Partnership. In her spare time she enjoys exploring with her chocolate lab, hiking, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
